first_imgPrint Friendly Version RAYMORE, Mo. – The Drake University women’s golf team finished the two-day, three-round Kansas City Intercollegiate in ninth place with a three-day score of 315-319-326 – 960 at the Creekmore Golf Club.Oral Roberts won the 10-team event with a 292-288-299 – 879.Haeri Lee, the reigning Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, and Kristen Giles led the Bulldogs over the two days of competition as both had three-round scores of 240 to tie for 39th place. Lee finished with an 84 on the final day to record a 77-79-84 – 240, while Giles had the Bulldogs’ lowest round Tuesday to finish at 79-81-80 – 240.Aimee Gerschke and Sigurlaug Jonsdottir both carded 81s Tuesday as Gerschke finished in 43rd at 79-81-81 – 241 while Jonsdottir was tied for 48th at 83-80-81 – 244.The Kansas City Intercollegiate was the Bulldogs’ final tune-up before next week’s Missouri Valley Conference Championship in Chesterton, Ind.Drake Results9.  Drake, 315-319-326 – 960T39.
