Aller/Getty Images)Penn State freshman defensive back Isaiah Humphries is leaving the program, he announced earlier today.Humphries, a three-star signee in the 2018 class and the son of former Penn State defensive back Leonard Humphries, did not appear in a game for the Nittany Lions this season. He announced his transfer on Twitter.“After many months of prayer and thought, I will be leaving Penn State,” Humphries wrote. “I’m so thankful for the coaches and the staff for allowing me to come here all the way from Texas.“I appreciate everything that has been given to me and the relationships that I have made along the way. Good luck to the Nittany Lions on their bowl game.”Thank you pic.twitter.com/2B9wDdukoH— Isaiah Humphries (@TheHumphries23) November 28, 2018Humphries was the No. 34 safety in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.The Nittany Lions finished the 2018 regular season with a 9-3 record.
